Poor Polly our lovely Burford Brown hen has died. She was attacked by a dog who did what dogs do!! She seemed okay at first - some lost feathers and a small bite on her bottom. However the next day after we took her to the vet she became very quiet and started wheezing. Then she died in her nesting box with the other hens standing vigil. I’ll give her a proper burial today.
